I wrote the Renko code in Meta 5, which creates an offline chart with custom symbols and imports the required data into it. In Meta, when you open a position on gold, it doesn't show it on the Renko chart, for example, 50 pips of gold, which is logical because their symbols are different.
Inside Meta 4 Source, I caught a renko that changed the history file of gold in a specific time frame, for example, 66 minutes, and this makes it possible to take a position on the gold renko while it has an offline candle chart at the same time. You can't make custom symbols in Meta 4, and I don't know about editing the history file in Meta 5 either.
The only thing I want to be done is that when I open a position on gold, it should also be shown in Renko gold charts. Of course, it is possible to write an indicator that creates some objects and shows the positions artificially, but I am looking for a way for MetaTrader to do this for me.
Do you think this is possible in Meta 5? For example, by rewriting the open history file or changing the custom symbol settings?
