mt4/5 install issue(proxy server)

Hello, I tried to install mt4 and mt5 many times but failed. What is proxy server? I am not sure about that. Who can lead me? How do I set that? I look forward to your warm assistance. Thanks.

I had the same problem.  Suddenly, it prompted for a proxy.  I use Oanda and didn't know they released a new MT4.  used it, no problems.

You need to enable TLS 1.2 support. Install all available updates for the old OS that is on your screenshot.

You should enable TLS 1.2 support for your Windows -

You need to enable TLS 1.2 support. Install all available updates for the old OS that is on your screenshot.

...follow the guidance in the following Knowledge Base article, and then, restart the computer:

Found the problem... I wasn't using Oanda's latest installer.
