Do you know what Chikou span is?
It's also known as the "lagging span" and it's created by plotting closing prices that are 26 periods behind the latest closing price of an asset.
They are the same thing.

I do understand what chikou is, and it's calculation, and that it lags 26 periods behind by design. I need held in developing an indicator that behaves almost the same as chikou, but updating with current price

I need help with maybe another indicator that behaves the same way as Ichimoku but updating in real time, or a way to use Ichimoku with multiple timeframes comparison for my final confirmation.
I think comparing the chikou span to the current bar will work better, but I need the technique on how to do it.
Please help with ideas
