Cost of Newsletter for a new one

When first registering I have to tick to accept the newsletter , because I cant find anywhere a cost for it , I wont tick it unless I know if there is a cost factor or what I am getting myself in for, could someone enlighten me please.

No cost, nothing seems to happen except you are able to continue registration
