Problem running on Vista
Also, if he double-clicks the EA icon on a chart, the properties dialog opens but it only shows the "Common" tab.

Still no idea why the problem occured but the client has installed to a new folder and all is well.
I have a client with MT4 running on Vista - he's sent me a screenshot and the large "Expert Advisors" button in the button bar is missing.
Has anyone got any ideas?

You sure you using the latest version and not some old crap? JUST TO BE ON A SAFE SIDE, I suggest you get this and install in ANOTHER folder: "MetaTrader 4 trading terminal"
This is the latest MT, dated 11 of May.
I mean, I've been running on Vista for more than a year now (starting from early betas and alphas) and MT runs just fine.
