I have been running several different EA's for months now no problem.
My main EA is a gridder / Carpet bomber.
I run it on gbp/usd and gbp/jpy.
Being a gridder, the bot looks for a net win (in the pair its trading only) and then closes all trades for a profit.
Things had been going smoothly for months.
Then one day i come home and all my orders are closed.
The EA opens them and MT4 is closing them the very next pip movement.
I know this isnt my EA's fault because i removed the EA from the chart and still had the same problem.
I was able to get around this issue by re-installing MT4 and recompiling my EA's (but now I am doing this every few days). Has anyone had this happen to them?
However every time my EA cycles on a pair (for example gbp/jpy) no trades will remain open on that pair. But trades in gbp/usd, eur/usd etc... stay open just fine.
Re-installing and recompiling EA's every time this happens is not a workable solution.
Also, the order closures are not listed in the MT4 Journal but ARE coming from the computer that is opening the trades. (I know because i checked with IBFX online help).
With the experts enable or disabled the same thing happens, orders closed instantly.
Any ideas / thoughts welcome.
Thanks
