EA Not Trading

Does anyone know how to get a trading robot to trade automatically?

I have enabled Algo Trading and the bot is visible on the chart, but it's not trading. 

Sorry for the dumb question, but I'm new to the whole trading scene and I have to start somewhere.

That would depend on the strategy of the ea. If it only opens 1 trade per week or month, then, you will have days or weeks to wait until a trade opens.

If the ea in the right top corner is blue, then, you can believe that it is working.

Or if it is mt4, the smiley face in the top right corner is smiling, then again, you can believe that all is working fine.

Only other thing you might check if there are any errors with red sign in the journal or Experts tabs on the bottom.
