New arrows, and stuff in Build 196. Why?

I've just downloaded build 196, and there are new style arrows, with new names for trade functions, and something called trendlines.

-I've been using my EA for more then a year now, and I have things programmed to arrow descriptions, which are useless now. Why is it necessary to change something that works?
I cannot turn off automatic arrow drawing at trend functions either, so I don't see what's happening on the chart now...

-What are these trendlines, and how can I turn them off?

In my opinion these are not important, but rather annoying "improvements"...
Would there be a way to use the old style arrows instead these new ones, once the platform "needs" to be this fancy?
