"Waiting for update"

The cahrts all say waiting for update.
The data feed is live (good) but no charts are updating
I tryed to signe up for new account and that does same things (3 times)

Is there anything I can do?

You can try closing all your charts, close metatrader, delete history, then open metatrader back up and open new charts.
 
David .... thanks! It worked.

Now if I can figure out how to get a mini demo again.
I swear it used to give me the option for a mini and now does not.

Most probably, you had an account with another broker.
You have to find a broker that provides mini demos.
 

Has anybody tried shutting the program down then starting it again to only see it still doesnt work?

The solution for MT4 was to drag the same symbol from Market Watch to the chart.
 

whroeder1 -  Is there a way to get all the charts in the profile (ie. on the screen) back from 'waiting for update' in one go?

                    I have this problem occassionally and it is tedious dragging and dropping from Market Watch to 28 different pairs charts.

                    I have searched and searched (Google, MT4 Forum) but can't find a solution.

 

Another solution...  Window/ New window/ [select a currency pair]

It worked for me :)

You are waiting for update, there are no OnTick calls coming - nothing to check or delay for.

I said what the solution was. I haven't seen this problem for years.
