I miss one option - trade D1 and up and don't care ;)
As Marcin have said, it depends on what timeframe you are trading.
D1 and up it doesn't really matter.
If I'm trading on a lower timeframe, I don't trade the news itself, but the afterwards. It's very common for a commodity price to move a large amount during some news and then slowly return to it's original price (or close to it). So it's better and safer to trade the reaction to what happens after the news price movements.
