System seizes when trying to get into Indicator List
I still don't know the cause of the problem, but it was fixed by doing a full uninstall and reinstall of MT4. Note that doing the "repair" option of the installer had no effect.
If anyone knows what might cause this I would be interested to know so it could be avoided in the future.

My friend's MT4 has become a mess.
For example, when he tries to go into indicator list the MT4 seizes and has to be terminated.
Even in a profile with no charts open, if he opens one chart with only one standard indicator on it, if he tries to go to indicator list the whole MT4 freezes up.
The overall performance is very very slow.
When he first installed it was working fine.
All other programs on his computer work OK.
We have done spyware checks, and have freed up hard drive space and defragmented his drive.
Nothing helped.
Do you have any suggestions?
