Hey all!
I'm starting a personal project, a custom copier that supports MT4 to MT5 (and viceversa) communication. I'm aware that on MT4's case the common folder can be used to store and read info between terminals, howeve I couldn't find anything too helpful about communicating between MT4 and MT5.
I read a few articles that suggested a custom installation location for MT4, so it can be inside the files directory of the MT5 instance but I find it too much of a hassle and I feel there's a better way.
Any info, article, or post where I can learn more about this is appreciated!:)

I have both MT4 and MT5 installed on my machine and they both share the same "Common" directory — %APPDATA&\MetaQuotes\Terminal\Common\Files
