Unable to open mt4 platform

Hi, 

I'm unable to open my mt4 platform. I've tried so many different things, but none of them seem to work. Does anyone know how to resolve the problem?

 
You can get the mt4 terminal only from a broker offering it - not here as it is quite old.
 

ohh so are they the only ones who can fix my problem?

It has been years since you could download MT4 from Metaquotes. You can only get it from a broker's website.

I don't want to download MT4. I want the application to open so I can use it on my laptop.

We cannot read your mind nor see your computer. Explain in more detail. Show screenshots. Show the Journal log output. Check the Windows Event log too.

How do you expect to open the application, if you don't download and install it from a broker?
