BB Trading stopped because of Stop Out?

In backtesting an expert of mine, I'm getting this error reported:
"BB Trading stopped because of Stop Out"
I'm hoping to get some guidance on what could be causing this and/or some suggestions on tracking down the cause.
 
It means your expert ran out of money. Set a higher starting amount for the backtest.

I originally didn't think that was the case, but there were several buy orders placed (should not have happened, but now I know where to look in my code), so probably caused a margin call. It sure would have been nice to have a message for such a condition, instead of the cryptic one I got.
