What kind of account are you asking for? Netting or hedging?

Because on a netting account, as soon as you place a reverse order, it will automatically close out the existing position by the volume of the reverse order.

In other words, on a netting account you can only have one net position, per symbol, at any given time.

To have a reverse position while still keeping the existing one open, you need to have a "hedging" account.

On a netting account, you need to place a market order on the same symbol, on the opposite direction and with a greater volume than the open position (double volume if you want an exact reversal).

So if you have a position like BUY 1.0 lot and you want to reverse it, you have to SELL 2.0 lots.
