MT4 for desktop installing MT5 automatically, need help.
fx47: I've tried several times to download the mt4 installation file from this link https://download.mql5.com/cdn/web/metaquotes.software.corp/mt4/mt4setup.exe and install mt4 in a desktop. But unfortunately it's installing mt5 automatically every time. I think there is a problem on the metaquotes end. Can anyone send me the correct link or fix this issue? Thanks in advance!
Development of MetaTrader 4 stopped several years back, and you can currently only download it from brokers that support it.
It is not available from the MetaQuotes website, which instead installs MetaTrader 5.
