MT4 Frustrating Alerts - Defaults Possible?

Create a script or indicator that monitors an hline and does the work for you.

Does anyone know why we can't set default alerts profile in MT4?
Each time I set an alert I have to change the settings notification, timeout, iterations, selecting the audio file and then add a 2nd alert just to get a mobile notification.
I monitor over 30 instruments and this is just painful.
Alerting could be improved 100x just by allowing a user to set defaults. I've checked MT5 and it's exactly the same.
Also where does it save the Alert user data file? Can this file be exported to another terminal?
