No. You can use your own PC but having a VPS (be it MetaQuotes or 3rd Party) will help.

If however, you only have a mobile device, then a VPS will be necessary.

Well you need to turn on your Metatrader on PC 24/5 (monday-friday) i think vps is a must since we want maximum trade being copied
