account Opened multiple trades..

hi there,

does anyone of you encountered multiple trades opened in account while the signal opened only 1 trade?

If yes how to correct this.

It may be the several reason for that:

• you are copying trades on your home computer and in MQL5 VPS in the same time;
• you closed some trade manually but the trade was not closed in signal provider so the system opened this trade for you once again;
• the trade on your side got stop loss or take profit but for signal provider - not yet (in case you using/tick "Copy Stop loss and Take Profit levels" option in your settings). So, trade was closed for you and opened once again (because the signal provider is still having it opened); so - untick this part of the settings if it is the issue for example;
• some more reasons.

You can know about what happened by analysing the logs (Metatrader journal, or MQL5 VPS journal in case you are using MQL5 VPS).

Enable realtime subscription for VPS

1. Yes you need to tick: Enable real time subscription, when using a VPS.

2. The: Copying Stop Loss and Take Profit levels, means to copy the SL and TP levels of the original trading positions of the signal you are following. This option should be ticked when you are copying with a low slippage broker/server and the trading strategy isn't a scalping one.

3. Stop if equity is less than ... means that you will stop copying the signal if your equity/capital is less than the amount you put. This is a capital preservation option and you use it only if you want.

4. Synchronize positions without confirmation, means that the copying signal system will keep synchronize open positions (of the signal you are copying), even if they are closed by you manually or they hit SL and TP levels in your account/broker (when you use VPS that is).
