I know it's an old topic but I will try my luck... Are you guys still able to get historical tick data from IC Markets that would be older than 12 last months?

I used it for the past 1-2 weeks, on different symbols, no issues for the "2017.04.01 - now" data. Just remember to be logged into an ICMarkets Demo account, and ofc an MT5 one.
P.S. I was logged into "ICMarketsEU-Demo" though, but "ICMarketsSC-Demo" should be fine too.
Hmm, I think my issues with the live accounts were exactly for data older than 12 months. So perhaps you're using the data from the live servers when backtesting.
