is the ASUS B250 EXPERT MINING relevant or not? i had an idea about it there in the ethereum channel tv suggested the option ....but they laughed it off and did not understand it.

So 3080 is cheaper, but performance is not so much lower as the price.

It's better to get the 3 boards separately. There's less risk of them burning out at once, which can happen.
So the 3080 is cheaper and the performance isn't as much less as the price.
You are sorely mistaken the 3090 is 24 Gig and the 3080 is 10 Gig - it makes a huge difference to performance.

what's the point? if you can trade
for that matter, you can now (with many reservations) steak ~10% p.a. on ether, probably more efficient to invest in hardware for that than for mining.

A couple of friends I know. On free electricity (almost, dormitory, institute production). Back on bitcoin, but did not have time to upgrade equipment. ) Wish they had sold the equipment a couple of years ago).
