I do more on a pullback than on a trend - so you need to trend without a pullback of 50 pips - otherwise at those 50 my martingale link works with a hell of a profit.
I used to and still do try to be in the trend but when I'm in a trend it drains my positions on pullbacks or retracements and I get confused about entry points -
Martingale - I use it when the trend is there and not when it starts or reverses
And so you have a tip - to bring me down - you need a dull trend of 600 pips in one direction - no rollbacks of 50 pips - no retracements, etc.
If I see such a trend - I will sit on the fence - when it is only in the middle of a trend - I will start to put my ties.
