IgorM:

"The educated and active people have significantly increased their sense of self-worth, and this is a credit to Putin, who has made it possible not to think about their daily bread and to reflect on higher values. People are making their own choices, but are highly doubtful about their choices."

ZZZY: Thanks to the Provider! It was quite lucidly explained that citizens are a herd that should be helped to make good choices in exchange for food.

ZZZY: How I love this country, it's a pity we all call Russia this country and not our motherland.

I don't see why anyone doesn't like Medvedev..... Better than Gorbachev or Yeltsin.

How do you like it? How is it better? What has Medvedev done for Russia?

Maybe. I just don't understand one thing - where are your people's oil and gas dollars going? You must be living better than in the UAE by now.

May we live worse! Let us.

But we are building (multibillion dollar) presidential residences and missions! We have already built 26 (twenty-six, if I am not mistaken) palace complexes from Kaliningrad to Kamchatka! And the infrastructure, access roads, etc.!

We are proud of it! No other country has such facilities, not even bigwigs in Africa! And our government does! Like this!

And in the USA (funny to say!) - only two presidential residences, - goo-goo...

You also have a lot of cool oligarchs - also sort of the pride of the nation.

911: Maybe so. I just don't get it. Where do your people's oil and gas dollars go? You must be living better than in the UAE by now.

exclusively for the needs of the people and people's elected representatives - all the money, every penny! but in different proportions, I think somewhere around 2/98%, google how expensive the people's elected representatives are, and all the national projects are official purchases of goods from the right firms with a ~500% markup.

ZS: I often see new playgrounds in villages that have no schools - I think they certainly have not stolen them for another national project, and kids will soon be playing in noisy crowds, because the birth rate in Russia has "popped" - I heard it myself on TV, and VVP said he certainly won't cheat.

911:You also have a lot of tough oligarchs, who are also the pride of the nation.
Search the web at http://www.kinopoisk.ru/level/1/film/583734/, it's quite an enlightening documentary.

Don't touch our oligarchs! Don't touch !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They're holy people! ("In the morning, when I put on a sandwich, I immediately think: how are the people?" -s) Statesmen! They're all for the state in Courchevel!

Every person you pick is a crystal soul! Of course, there are exceptions (like Hodor, what a scoundrel!). But we'll send them straight to jail! Let them sit in jail for 13 years.
