For the euro, I see this as the main option.

Cancelled if we break the 1.2917 level....

can the second wave of an impulse be a triangle?

Agreed. But still looking south....

can the second wave of an impulse be a triangle?
Why not? It can be a triangle and a reverse triangle and a zigzag. The main thing is not which shape, but the alternation rule.

I haven't come across such a rule. Perhaps you are marking waves according to Neely? But I am not familiar with his rules.

Elliott waves are nicely drawn. If programmatically, what program ? If it is not a secret, of course.

Respectfully.

No not software. Everything is in the MT4 terminal. The wave indicators I've seen either draw wrongly or don't know what they draw at all.... Unfortunately....

Show me where you found such a rule that the second wave can NOT be a triangle.

Furthermore, as I recall Elleot, a triangle is a trend continuation figure and appears in an impulse wave as the second OR fourth sub-wave.
