Instead of irretrievable deletion, move branches to trash. The branches placed in the trash are not available for updating, but are available for viewing.
I may have wanted to read about golden formulas, but couldn't even get a peek. The public moderators made a collegial decision instead of me as to what I could and could not look at.
I am an adult, well-read and cannot be overcome by foul language or any pictures. It seems to me that I can make up my own mind about the degree of usefulness of the information in a deleted branch.
Organization of "rubbish", will allow making a decision about the degree of usefulness of the information for each user. In this case, further "outrage" will be stopped and interested persons, if any, will have an opportunity to get acquainted with the information.
What do you think about this?

This is a technical proposal, not an organisational one. And where would this bin be located?
