Filtering signals on the Expert Advisor. I chose the iVolume indicator for filtering. What other indicators do you use? - page 6

Alexander Ivanov:
I only meant the eh4 file.
I see... the woods are the same as the woods...

An example of filtering.

But the signals for trading come from the construction of the trend channel, and pivot levels. Entry by Parabolic+MA indicator

The indicators do not predict the future, they show the current market situation.

Where the price will go next, we do not know. And it's absolutely certain that there will always be one or two market situations within a couple of three months that will take away all the capital.

The most difficult thing is to enter correctly, then hold a position and respectively exit correctly. You can enter correctly only when we can answer the question "Why will the price go in this or that direction? Until then it's a "casino" with an advantage of one number-spread. This is when you get in and you owe and it's like "0" on a roulette wheel that kills the odds 50/50.

So what you wrote: "Entering by Parabolic+MA indicator" - is just another scam with a story to match. So there is no need to scam people here.

As a rule, the price is higher than the market price, but you don't have to worry about it, because you have to do it manually.

Why do they ask you for a code? The reason is simple - there are moments in different years, when any EA would stumble, so I would like to test and, if possible, optimize it or add some filters - but this is only if you are not cheating us and trying to get closer to the "Holy Grail" by our joint efforts.

But there is no "grail" and will not be until the mathematical expectation of winning against us. I may be really lucky in some periods, but no more than that, and then all... One case is exceptional, even by the indicators

takes out all the capital accumulated over the years.

Therefore, if you simply want to contribute to the hard work of programmers, then lay out the source code.

This is about the filter, not the robot. You can add an iVolume filter on any one and you can set it up for yourself. The indicator code is at the top. It's interesting, when you add an EA code, it goes through the rough spots where it has stumbled before.

It's the FILTER that counts. The rest is of no interest.

the iVolume indicator itself is a democratic indicator. Not red and not white. I add up the volume data for a month and average the level.

I am of the opinion - that there is no volume in the Forex market and its use is mostly misleading for traders, it's a very unbiased indicator, its use is like flipping a coin.

The trouble is that different brokerage companies have different volumes, and maybe this indicator will only work with your brokerage company.
