Real PR (performance rating) of the processors to be tested - page 4

Renat:
Intel Core 2 Solo SU3500 is an economical laptop single core, correct the number of cores and threads to 1, ram 3gb. The i7 950 has 12gb ram.

I see, RAM corrected itself :)

I got the information about Intel processors from intel.com, it says so:

Intel Core 2 Solo SU3500 - dual core(http://ark.intel.com/Product.aspx?id=42113)

Intel Core 2 Solo ULV SU3500 - single core(http://ark.intel.com/Product.aspx?id=37133)

Do you have ULV?

Yes, ULV, strangled for the sake of longevity.

On one of the machines ran... the machine is not chipper

x32 MT5 XP x32 , under VMWARE 7.1 administration

Intel Core2 duo E4500 2.20 1024mb RAM

Core1 EURUSD,M1: 7142715 ticks (212226 bars) generated within 26422 ms (total bars in history 576654)

I'll run a series of iron tests later

I7 920 4 cores + 4 hyper ( i.e. virtually 8 cores ) 12 gig RAM,

CentOS 5.2 / VmWare 7.1 / Windows XP x32 / Windows 7 x64

and also on one small AMD x64 3-core machine.

At work there is a baby, 16 cores 24gig RAM, not available at the moment

Z.Y. The number of ticks is different, by 15 different.

By the way, this may be the effect of the OS. I have Win 7 -64.

I've installed a computer with a Win XP

Here are the results of the same test

s.w. it turns out XP and 32 bit version is faster (almost 3 sec) than Win7 64 and 64 bit version

I have the processor overclocked from 2.8 to 3.6 GHz. Only one core (agent) was used in testing . I don't have enough experience with MT5 yet, but compared to MT4 the tester shows great results. On 5 it's possible to use all 100% of CPU power whereas on 4 version only 13% (in my case). And if we take system with Socket-1156 as a base (unlike 1366) when using only one core we will use turbo boost technology which adds 133 Mhz to each available core. 1366 also has turbo boost but the 1156 does it more aggressively.
