Your statement is misleading.   MT5 is equally suitable for trading currencies and has more technical and fundamental analysis built in

MQL5 is more complicated but less fragmentary. There are some important concepts that you will understand better if you know a little bit about the MQL4 side of things.

But Meta Quotes does not support MT4 anymore. You can not download MT4 from mql5.com anymore, only from brokers. It is bleeding out. Would you advise a beginner to use Windows 7 in 2022?

MT4 backtest only support cpu 1 core and 4gb ram i think , this is not very good for you to test some big data thing , in same ea you can do better in mt5

The MT5 is better than the MT4 because it is an advanced version with faster order execution and having a suitable broker can also be an advantage.
