[MQL4] TOPIC: An Mql4 Learning Accountability Skype Group.

I have a valuable idea to approaching learning Mql4 at a faster rate us Novice Coders:

1. We form an Mql4 skype group.

2. We ascertain what level of knowledge we're all currently at.

3. We read from the "Mql4 online Book" and "Mql4 Documentation" together.

4. We choose a specific content to learn: (Functions, Arrays, Variables, Structures, etc).

5. We implement practicing what we've gathered from the literature's material.

6. We repeat this process until we've mastered that specific coding area then move onto the next.

7. We share, implement, practice, read, and continue to motivate one-another and hold ourselves accountable until we've learned the entire mql4 language.

8. Optional, if an experienced Coder wishes to be elected as the Moderator and Leader of the Skype group, he/she can. They must carry a Leadership mentality, and

must be willing to recommend and organize structurally what content he/she feels the group must read to optimize our learning curve.

Any thoughts, recommendations, or opinions on this approach?

Nice idea, but why Skype? It can be created here, to benefit others

Nice idea, but why Skype? It can be created here, to benefit others

Much appreciation to your feedback:  I believe skype would be more convenient for the following reasons:

A. It'll provide a canvas for us all to share our screens and input code that can be viewed and modified in real-time. (Aside from posting the code and creating multiple posts on the forum to modify or test it).

B. It'll create a more personal experience for the Coders and enhance direct communication. (Aside from having to refer to a post, and await an answer for an explanation on posted code).

C. It'll mitigate the group having to seek out answers in the forum to basic or fundamental questions about coding issues we encounter. (Hence freeing up the experienced coders time in the forum, and forcing us to only consult with them as a last result).

D. It'll grant each user the ability to freely express themselves in a timely fashion, and enable them to show on their screen the reasoning and logic of why they've coded something in a particular manner.

The Skype group can benefit all of the new-comers using the following methods:

1. As a new-comer enters the forum, they're directed to a New-Coder section. (Of course, after it's created)

2. We'll give them the option to attend the skype accountability group, or choose to learn coding via the specified Forums post.

3. All coding techniques, skills, and information gathered from the Skype group will be transferred to the Forum for new-comers to decipher.

4. They'll be able to copy-code, test-code, and refer to the mql4 documentation the poster links said code to. (This'll give them an advantage of not only copying the code, using it, but also knowing where its source is contained).
