I don't know how it was in 2010.
There is no INDICATOR_CALCULATIONS on built-in indicator which are not even coded in mql5.
I have nothing to prove. I am coding with mql5 since early 2013 and it has always been like that (at least since a very long time). Yes there are a lot of things in my memory, take it or not, I was trying to avoid you to waste your time. Good luck.

I see you post on the forum a lot and help all people, all the time, you are always helping.
I am just sad now I will never be able to pragmatically tell the difference between a normal buffer and a calculation buffer, it hurts. I can never truly finish my project now using custom indicators without having complicated inputs needed for the end-user. WinAPI would be useless as I would need to keep the data window open to read it, which defeats the purpose sadly. The template idea works so well but I can't use it unless I know which buffer is CALCULATION. I don't think there is another solution to my problem?
