Hello everyone I greet you all. I am just a newbie, interested in learning how to write EA. I read an article on this site (https://www.mql5.com/en/articles/100) step by step guide on how to write an expert advisor in mql5 I then downloaded the programme file provided. I tried to test it using the strategy tester of mql5 but it does not respond. Will someone look through the codes and advise me what might be wrong. Also, I rather like using MT4 platform. Can someone check an put the attached file in mql4. I will appreciate your help. The file is attached at the end of the article.
