Lost data from Optimsation in Metatrader 5
The story:
Just installed brand new Windows 10 and did not proceed to update my Windows 10. I started optmising my EA in MT5. I left my computer on for couple of days and when I'm back, my MT5 application is closed and I see the in the bottom right corner that my win 10 updates have been installed.
The question:
Despite the devestation of how windows 10 installed updates without my conscent (or also maybe it restarted my computer without my conscent), How do I know if my previous optimisation has finished or stopped without finishing ?
I've had a bad weekend and this made things worse, so I'll appreciate whoever can enlighten my day by giving useful anwers. Thanks in advance!
I tried everything to force my Win 10 professional(!) to update itself if and only ifI allowed it. I asked the experts of a German Windows forum (some there were working for Windows ion Germany) how to do it and nobody had a solution except the hint to buy an expensive company solution with lots of users - for me a single user on only one pc.
So I removed it from my pc and installed again Win 7. There are no more updates. This is the only advice I can give you.
