mq4 not converting to ex4 file in indicators folder

 I have updated and compiled in Meta Editor an indicator then saved it to the data folder though I can see it in the navigator drop down list it will not drag across and open into a chart and will not convert from a mq4 file to a ex4 file, any ideas thanks.

Post the expert logs, journal logs or even compiler logs, if you wish to get help.

"I have updated and compiled" and "will not convert from a mq4 file to a ex4 file" is contradictory. Either you haven't successfully compiled, the MQ4 file isn't in the appropriate «Data Folder», or you didn't save it to the appropriate sub-folder.

First  step, File → Open Data Folder, don't assume you know where.
