MetaEditor4 taking long time to load (14 min) but Metatrader4 is open quickly
Some time ago we hadone MetaEditor for MT4 and MT5.
And we are having two MetaEditors now: MetaEditor 5 for MT5 and MetaEditor 4 for MT4.
Make sure that you updated MT4 to the latest build (and MetaEditor will be automatically updated too).
I am having MT4 build 1264 with MetaEditor 4 build 2375.

My Windows 10 just updated recently and I have noticed that the computer is a lot more sluggish.
Although the editor does't take as long as 14 minutes for me, it opens up with the message "Not Responding" for quite a while.
The reference is basically unusable though, I give up on it so I don't know how long it takes to fully open.

After many good years, suddenly MetaEditor 4 showed a new behavior: it take 14 min for its loading. In this time, MetaTrader 4's loading is normal, just some seconds.
What is it?
