backtest a trailing stoploss and break even EA

I developed an EA that manages the stoploss using the ATR indicator.
This EA uses some parameters.

Is it possible to backtest my EA on previous trades in my MT4 history in order to find the best settings?

Yes I tried it by myself for testing some settings, and unfortunately very often the trailing stop algorithm put the SL too much close from the order price so the order is closed.

That's why I would like to use the strategy tester but on my history trades.
