My MT4 has stopped working in my laptop
Make sure that you are logged in and connected to the correct server.
You should have received a email from the broker when you first opened the account with the server details.

I have found in another post a file MT4_portable.zip.
This one works.
If I download MT4 from any of the brokers, it connects, but don't send or receive data.

Hello. I am using a Huawei matebook E, chinese. I have used MT4 one year with it with no problem. These days, MT4 has stopped working. When connecting to the server it only appear "Waiting for update" and the numbers at the botton to the right don't grow. Only can see " 0 / 0 kb" or sometimes " 1 / 0 kb".
I have different brokers. The funny thing is that their MT4 stopped working in different days. Yesterday the last broker that still was working began to do the same.
I have tried MT5, it works perfectly.
However, some of my brokers have not MT5 yet.
What can I do?
