One of the best indicator that i have seen.

1) unfortunately the indicator input settings are in Russian language.

2) I can't change the size of circle arrow.

Currently, the Arrow size is not changed. I will consider your wish in the next version of the code. The third version of the code is planning to put on 14-15 July 2014.

1) The simple way is to download it as ZIP and unpack to: terminal_data_folder\MQL5\.

2) Also you can download it in Code Base tab in the client terminal (all included files will be downloaded automatically in the appropriate folders):

Could someone please explain the comment that was in the description:

"As for the core of the extreme search algorithm - Zigzag, this algorithm is a "temporary (quick) decision" and certainly requires replacement. Since most of the errors are associated with pattern detection NOPATTERN (see in enum NamePattern in the MyCPattern.mqh file) - this is an error of the search engine."

 

Is the developer saying the indicators internal search algorithm to identify the patterns is the weak link of the system?

Is anybody having success with this indicator?

How do we determine the optimal settings?

For the organization of trade with this indicator recommend the following:

1). Use only ORDER_STOP_LIMIT

2). For buy-order use patterns: M1, M3, M5, M7, M9, M12, M14;

3). For sell-order use patterns: W3, W5, W8, W10, W12, W14, W16;

4). price for buy / sell = point E;

5). take profit = point Mutation;

6). stop loss = point Evolution, if (point Evolution == 0) use fixed stop loss

Unfortunately for me the last two months were almost not fruitful, because of the heavy workload at the main job - you probably heard on the news: "Kamchatka is at war with imaginary enemies" (this is me about the exercises in the Far East). So before the Motherland adjusted my plans, I was studying your idea:

and came to the conclusion that it is viable and will give a huge advantage to the indicator, if on the current timeframe there will be not one figure as it is now, but a "synthetic figure" consisting of figures of the junior timeframe and a higher timeframe:


And there can be many trading algorithms with this indicator.... For the current version of the code, I personally recommend using the typical scheme of technical analysis: correction after a "big wave", i.e. use the figures:

M1, M3, M5, M7, M9, M12, M14 - to place a pending buy order, point E - buy price, point Mutations - take profit;

W3, W5, W8, W10, W12, W14, W16 - for placing a pending order sell, point E - selling price, point of Mutation - take profit;


As for the Theory of CHAOS, I have not grown up to this theory yet, it is too early for me to use it, although I really want to. But as a "full zero" in the Theory of CHAOS, I think I need 4-point figures there.... but THIS IS NOT A CONFIRMATION, but the DILETANT'S FEELINGS!

I will not hide that the main problem of the indicator is not optimised code, this is the reason why I can not evaluate the indicator's performance on 5. So far I have not found a solution to this main problem, but I am searching for a solution.
