EA - new activation on VPS upgrade?

Does anyone know if MQL5 EAs require additional activations when I upgrade CPU+RAM of my VPS (not a new VPS, just upgrade)?

MQL5 purchased products require an additional activation on major software updates, I don't think they will need one in hardware ones.

Probably yes because it is linked to the hardware too.

It depends on the VPS. The one I use when I upgraded it did not use any extra activation.
