Planning for the best whilst protecting against the worst.

Hi,

I am new to the trading world.

I am sure you are all aware, deposits and withdraws are made on the brokers websites and all trading activity is conducted on Metatrader. Trust is important and as i see it, the only way it can be sustained is by all parties planning for the best and protecting against the worst case scenario. This got me thinking then researching:

- What measures have metatrader put in place to ensure that our funds are protected?

- How stringent is the broker on boarding process?  Does the process vary depending on whether a broker is regulated?

- If a broker is fraudulent. How and to what extent will metatrader assist the user in recovering their funds?

I would appreciate any feedback on the above.

Thanks in advance,

GGK

Metaquotes supplies the platform. I don't see that they will get involved with any disputes that you may have with a broker.
