How Many Pips Per Trade Should a Trader Expect from Scalping?

Scalpers like Al Brooks would go away soon as a trade hits 3 pips, but in my opinion that requires a large volume. I just want to know what you traders think?

It depend on your strategy, most experienced traders make use of ATR to calculate how far the market might move in terms of pips.
