Who's saying that martingale is bad strategy? Price is 80% of time ranging, or that's what experts said.

So may be a way to take advantadge of that, I agree that approach that trend could never be an enemy.

That is exactly the problem. 80% of the time you are making money, 20% of the time you risk losing all because there is no way to predict when the range ends.

80% of the time win small vs 20% of the time losing all is not the risk reward ratio you should be comfortable with, unless you don't care.

Reason:
