Wrong. When you apply a template, the EA and all indicators are removed. Then all are reloaded.
We have some misunderstanding. The question was "Is there any difference between that and re-attaching the EA via loading a template with new input variables I should be aware of?" and "that" was "changing of input vars via dialog box triggers a deinit and init call". My answer is yes, there is a difference, and I referred to changing inputs - values of static variables are preserved, not to applying template - values are lost.
