This is not possible Brendan.

MQL5 is working on some new features in the messaging system, including this option.

If you use MT4/5 on Phone, you can delete it.

I will assume there is no way to delete spam messages yet .
 
In fact it's possible to delete messages by using mobile application (in my case i only use Mt4) and deleting messages from there. It's working fine as i did this many times to clean up. Please try it out ;) it may work the same for Mt5

What about from within MetaTrader ? has it been tested ?

It cannot be done from MT4/MT5 (desktop).

The original message in this thread is from 2 years ago. It is still not possible. I have so many spam messages and messages from deleted accounts, it would be REALLY nice to clean this up. Thanks
