Misleading Renko chart back test results.

Guys am using renko live chart v 4.13 with an ea. The back test results are quite promising but forward testing results are frustrating. My strategy works best on renko charts. Can some one please suggest how to solve this problem? Do I have to change the renko chart indicator or all renko chart indicators give fake back test results?

Try Heiken Ashi.

And study it so you know how it operates.

MT5 or at least , make sure you are using M1 data on MT4
