Slippage in EA
Jernej Jost: I have one EA, which trade DAX. On demo acc it work perfect, but on real is not the best because of slippage. In EA I can modified, but I can not find best setup. Is here someone who can help?
You can approximate slippage simulation in MetaTrader v5 Strategy Tester by adding a Delay value! This will allow you experiment and see how you can improve your EA to compensate for slippage.
In MetaTrader v4 Strategy Tester, there is no "Delay" setting, so instead you can add code to your EA to simulate such a delay or use 3rd party tools for such simulation.
