VPS (Offline Chart)

Hello, 

I would like to rent a VPS from MetaQuotes, but I still have a question. If I create an offline chart that is manipulated, i.e. where instead of the normal bars e.g. the Renko chart is displayed, is this chart also transferred to the VPS? Thank you for an answer.

Unfortunately, I believe that Offline Charts will not work when using MQL5 VPS service. You could wait for a second opinion to confirm or deny this, but consider the following:

  • Either use a 3rd party VPS service where you have full control of your MetaTrader setup and where you can run the Renko generator as well as your EA.
  • Alternatively, have your EA generate the Renko data within the EA data space itself and not depend on an Offline Chart.
