Find brokers for HFT

Hi guys!

I'm testing an high frequency strategy on the forex market.

I need to find "crappy" broker with inconsistent flow of prices but a pretty good execution.

Most low budget market makers are like that.

If you have any suggestion I'm willing to pay 50$ for any working broker, after I tested it at least in demo.

Thanks!!

Discussion about the brokers are very limited on the forum (almost prohibited).
So, I am suggesting to you to use Freelance for example (in the Consultation category).

My understanding is you don't know what HFT means

  • metatrader cannot do HFT
  • for HFT you need an a data feed with sub-second timeframes

AKA ticks. No problem at all.

All is relative.

High-frequency trading has taken place at least since the 1930s, mostly in the form of specialists and pit traders buying and selling positions at the physical location of the exchange, with high-speed telegraph service to other exchanges.

HFT is nice buzz word which actually means nothing by itself.

You want "inconsistent flow of prices" ? What's that ?

What is a "pretty good execution" exactly ?

Is it MT4 or MT5 ?

My thinking is that a poor order flow would lead to the broker not taking rapid trades as they can not match the orders.

Probably you are looking for a broker that will accept scalping trades, and that may have to be a larger firm with capital to withstand the action.

So you can establish how many trades per second and then send email to several brokers who may accept your business.

I have tried doing HFT scalping with futures before, but it is way too fast beyond the real time speed of the platform, as well as the OS itself..

I doubt you can do it with currency pairs. Only for futures.

You will find that you will encounter cut loss too many times, and they are unpreventable.

By the time you see the price, it has already changed at "quantum level".

Suggest try other trading style.
