Intel Chip Update Causing Massive Slowdown???
I haven't measured backtesting speed but yes, the latest update reduced all my processor speed in general, as was announced in the news. The speed reduction was very significant.

Yea i think that is whats so crazy about the update. I didnt expect it to slow down things by this major margin.

Did the recent update of the Intel chip significantly slowdown backtesting on your PC as it has with mine? For similar testing that I perform, it typically takes 3-4 hours. Right now i've gone 28 hours for the same range of backtesting data. My CPU is only using 50% running 4 terminals, and my ram is only at 30% (I have 16 gigs). Anyone else noticing this major slowdown?
