Confused me ? I am not confused at all. From what I can read here, what you say has nothing to do with the content the first post. Anyway, no problem.
Only the first point is partially exact, with an existing limitation of the tester. All other points are coding issues, guaranteed 100%.
For the rest, I totally understand and agree with your point :
Personally, I use strategy tester only for logic testing an EA. Profit testing is only useful in live/demo forward testing. Besides the 4 points you listed above, there are quite a few more "features" that make strat test in MT useless as a profit predictor
So I have no idea why you think I could by confused.
By the way, the topic is about MT5, I was not aware you have experience with it ?
