if your EAs was written for MT4 - you may have files with extension .ex4 and/or .mq4
.ex4 - you can't read - its compiled file.
.mq4 - you can read with any text editor.
in any case those files should be in "MT4_folder_name\expert\"

mq4. and ex4 is different format...
no worries newbie or not..all start from the beginning.. all noob at first..
